arrived back on our doorstep at nearly 4yrs of age. Arriving from a secondary, abusive home, traumatised, he did not want anyone to even touch him in kindness. It took well over a year to reassure him that most humans meant well. In his original owners' words: "We've owned chows for well over 20 years. He was the most loving chow we'd ever owned. That's why we called you in for assistance." |
